The Roush Human Resource department is seeking a Human Resource Business Partner to provide strategic HR leadership and consulting to internal customers in effort to maximize the productivity of employees in a skilled trades/manufacturing environment. Utilize best practices in communication, performance management, coaching, talent development and change management to foster a culture of highly engaged employees. This role is in Allen Park, MI.
As a Human Resource Business Partner, you will:
- Contribute to the development and execution of the HR strategy for Roush
- Provide consultative support to leadership and managers re: strategies for engaging, retaining, and developing productive and scalable high performing teams
- Facilitate career development frameworks with a goal of retaining high potentials and fostering internal career mobility
- Facilitate HR owned training and development offerings to leaders and employees
- Provide consultative/full cycle support in resolving employee relations challenges, lead investigation process
- Facilitate the talent review process and follow up to drive the development of deeper succession benches.
- Provide monthly HR communication to leaders and employees (as applicable) to ensure timeliness of messages and alignment of focus
- In partnership with the Director of Talent Management, identify necessary skill development to drive better business outcomes
- Coach leaders on goal development to ensure employee expectations and metrics are clear and impactful
- Leverage the HR operations team to ensure the execution of HR processes are consistent and timely
Minimum qualifications to be considered:
- Bachelor's required in HR, Business Administration, or related field. Master's preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of HR experience.
- Experience as a business partner for manufacturing or skilled trades
- Proven work experience as an HR business partner
- Excellent people management skills
- Analytical and goal oriented
- Demonstrable experience with HR metrics
- Thorough knowledge of labor legislation
- Full understanding of all HR functions
- Master's degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field.
