Title: Medical Physicist III

Regular Company: Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center Department: Radiation Medicine Time Type: Full time Weekly Hours: 40 FTE: 1 Shift: First Shift (United States of America) Summary: Performs all the duties of a Medical Physicist I and II, which includes providing medical physicist services to organization departments using radiation beams for therapy of disease, maintaining quality assurance and calibration of radiotherapy equipment; providing consultation in radiation safety matters and participating in treatment design and delivery; serves as a faculty member and mentor in the medical physics arena; assumes greater autonomy and responsibility upon obtaining board certification.

Salary range for the Medical Physicist III position is $161,676 - $286,400 annually which includes a comprehensive benefits package. The listed pay range reflects the range of potential compensation for this role. The actual offer may vary based on qualifications, skills, and experience. Qualifications: Required Education and Experience

Certification Requirement
1. Certification by the American Board of Radiology (ABR); or
2. Certification by the American Board of Medical Physics (ABMP)
Education and Experience
Ph.D. and the equivalent of four (4) years of full-time experience in a radiation therapy clinical setting.

NOTE:
Required degrees must have been granted by an accredited school, college or university or one recognized by Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center as following acceptable educational practices.
