Regular Company: Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center Department: Department of Medicine - Clinical Genetics Service Time Type: Full time Weekly Hours: 40 FTE: 1 Shift: First Shift (United States of America) Summary: Provides genetic counseling and consulting services to patients at Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center and those referred to the Clinical Genetics Service; supports clinically-related genetics research; serves as an organization and community resource for aspects and issues related to human genetics. The salary range for this position is $84,156 - $106,454 annually which includes a comprehensive benefits package. The listed pay range reflects the range of potential compensation for this role. The actual offer may vary based on qualifications, skills, and experience. Qualifications: Required Education and ExperienceCertification Requirement
Possession of or eligibility for an American Board of Medical Genetics or American Board of Genetic Counselors board certification in Genetic Counseling, Human Genetics or equivalent.
Education and Experience
Master's degree in Genetics or a related field.
NOTES:
1. As a condition of continued employment, incumbents must maintain the required certification within eighteen (18) months of appointment to this title.
2. Required degrees must have been granted by an accredited school, college or university or one recognized by Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center as following acceptable educational practices.
Preferred Qualifications:
The preferred candidate will have a Master's degree in Genetic Counseling and ABGC Board Eligibility or Board Certification.
