Regular Company: Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center Department: Biostatistics & Bioinformatics Time Type: Full time Weekly Hours: 40 FTE: 1 Shift: First Shift (United States of America) Summary: The Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Institute (RPCI) is inviting applications for positions within its Department of Biostatistics and Bioinformatics. This department comprises faculty engaged in a wide range of cancer-related studies and clinical trials. Ideal candidates should demonstrate strong collaborative skills with clinicians and researchers at all levels. Preference will be given to those with significant experience in SAS or R programming.An Assistant Professor position requires a Ph.D. (or equivalent) in Statistics, Biostatistics, or a related field. Postdoctoral experience is highly desirable.
Salary range is $98,456 - $212,380 which includes a comprehensive benefits package. Qualifications: Required Education and Experience
Doctoral degree in an appropriate scientific or clinical-based discipline and the equivalent of three (3) years of full-time experience in an applicable scientific or clinical research environment.
NOTE:
Required degrees must have been granted by an accredited school, college or university or one recognized by Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center as following acceptable educational practices.
Preferred Qualifications:
The ideal candidate should possess leadership experience and a robust portfolio of publications and grants. Current peer-reviewed funding is also desirable. Additionally, the candidate should have an exceptional record of research achievements.
