Join our team at the new Peoria Ronald McDonald House and help keep families close to the care they need. We are currently hiring for the part-time positions of Guest Services Associate and Housekeeping.

Ronald McDonald House Charities of Central Illinois, a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization, provides a supportive place for families to stay while their child is receiving medical care, and supports programs that directly improve the health and well-being of children.

Guest Services Associate

The Guest Services Associate (GSA) helps to ensure the comfort and quality of care of our guest families who stay with us.

Summary of Responsibilities:

• Assisting guests with check-in/out, referrals, meeting guest needs, and conducting background checks.

• Maintaining community living by enforcing RMH policies and procedures.

• Cleaning guest rooms and common areas of the House per cleanliness standards.

• Communication with hospitals and service provider staff regarding guest family referrals

• Handle emergency situations or other circumstances that require immediate attention and complete Incident Reports.

• Accepting and documenting donations.

• Coordinating with volunteers.

Work schedule: Part-time. Varied. Night and weekend shifts available.

Requirements: High School Diploma or GED. Prior guest service, customer service, or hospitality experience preferred. Candidates are subject to a criminal background check prior to employment.

Housekeeper

The part-time Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and sanitary environment for families of the Peoria Ronald McDonald House.

Summary of Responsibilities:

• Detail cleaning of guest rooms and a guest family checks out of the House to ensure readiness for the next family.

• Clean and stock restrooms.

• Inspect guest rooms for cleanliness and maintenance needs.

• Coordinate with Maintenance to complete weekly room checks and report follow-up needs to Program Director.

• Directs and maintains the cleanliness of all common areas of the House per Global standards.

Work Schedule: Part-time. Will vary as needed. Day shift.

Requirements: High School Diploma or GED. Prior housekeeping experience preferred. Candidates are subject to a criminal background check prior to employment.
