Working with Richardson opens the door to a world of possibility.  We currently have an opportunity for a Plant Manager at our Richardson Pioneer Ag Business Centre located in Nampa, AB. As a Plant Manager you will assist in overseeing the facility and equipment ensuring the plant operates within corporate standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and direct facility plant operations, staff and activities

  • Participates in policy development and implementation of new policies

  • Coordinate the logistics of grain which includes purchasing, receiving, shipping, handling and grading

  • Supports the recruitment and selection of staff

Qualifications:

  • Degree or Diploma in Agriculture/Business and/or a minimum of 5 years' experience in the Agriculture industry

  • Demonstrated leadership ability with strong communication and organization skills

  • Demonstrated ability to work under pressure and meet multiple deadlines

  • High level understanding of business acumen with a strong focus on customer service
