Working with Richardson opens the door to a world of possibility. We are recruiting for an HR Business Partner located in our Winnipeg Head Office. The HR Business Partner will provide professional human resources support and consultation for the client group they support within our business. In addition, the successful candidate will be a key resource on many on-going projects and initiatives supporting the Human Resources function within the business.
Responsibilities:
- Partner with managers to find HR solutions and adding value to operations
- Manage end-to-end recruitment, selection processes and execute the annual campus recruitment strategy
- Support development programs such as graduate trainee development programs
- Provide advice and support to managers in an advisory capacity regarding salary administration decisions, employee/labour relations issues, performance management and interpretation of HR policies, programs and legislation
- Support disability management including working with managers, employees on leave and insurance providers to successfully manage disability cases and graduated return to work programs for both work and non-work related absences
- Train and support managers on HR processes and new initiatives
- Participate in or lead HR Advisory team projects as assigned
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3-7 years' related HR experience including supporting the full cycle of recruitment and providing relevant HR advisory support
- Completion of post-secondary education in Human Resource Management or a related field
- Demonstrated experience managing detailed projects and improving processes
- Ability to present information and/or training to groups of various sizes and experience; superior verbal and written communication skills are required
- Must be able to travel frequently across Canada and the USA and possess a valid driver's license
- Experience in full cycle labour relations including collective agreement administration, grievance resolution, arbitration preparation and negotiations is an asset
- Experience with employee relations and disability management is an asset
- Bilingual in French and English is an asset
