Serves as the primary contact and supervisor of the START Program (Systematic, Therapeutic, Assessment, Resource, and Treatment) to provide community based intervention and prevention services to individuals with developmental disabilities ad behavioral health care needs. The program relies on integrated care and treatment with collaboration among all team members. The services in the START Program include collaborative contacts, after hour contacts, emergency team meetings, planned respite and emergency respite.Education, Licensure, and Experience required for the position include: To qualify for the Clinician position the employee must meet Qualified Developmental Disability Professional and Qualified Mental Health Professional requirements, possess strong supervisory skills, possess expertise in the services provided, and have direct support experience with individuals with mental health and developmental disabilities diagnosis and experience with crisis management.
Physical requirements to perform essential functions of the job included:
Regularly required to lift 10 lbs. Must be able to lift a minimum of 15 lbs. Must be able to pull minimum of 10 lbs. Must be able to squat, kneel, crawl, crouch, climb, and stoop. Must be able to regularly use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls. Required to regularly stand and walk. Must be able to demonstrate proficiency in CPR from the floor level requiring to work on hands, knees, bending, standing and lifting. Vision requirements include close vision, distance vision, and peripheral vision. Must be able to talk and hear.

Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Social Services, Human Services or Special Education required; Master's degree a plus
- Minimum 2 years experience working with persons with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities required; 1-year experience if paired with Master's degree
- National START Certification must be completed
- Excellent communicator and cooperative team player who excels at interviewing the people we serve to learn about their interests and goals, even individuals who cannot communicate verbally.
- Must possess an expertise in the services being provided. Must have direct support experience supporting individuals with mental health and developmental disability diagnosis. Must have experience with crisis management and crisis counseling.
- Valid driver's license (this is a condition of employment) including personal vehicle insurance coverage. The following are conditions of employment: CPR, first aid, NCI certification and others that may be specified and/or required by future company regulations. Must maintain proficiency in company sponsored training and certifications and privileging if required.
