Quality Carriers, Inc. (QC), headquartered in Tampa, FL, is North America's largest bulk liquid chemical carrier. Through a network of more than 100 terminals and facilities, we transport a broad range of chemical products and provide our customers with value-added transportation services.
The Transloader is a critical member of Quality Carrier's team. This position will load chemicals into trailers and restocking chemicals . Ideal candidate will have good mechanical aptitude, holds no fear of heights and has ability to climb Tanks 34' tall and Railcars 15' tall.
Essential Functions of the Transloader:
- Load Chemicals into Truck/Trailers for Shipments
- Restock Chemical Inventory into Storage Tanks from Railcars, Trucks and Trailers
- Other duties as assigned
Minimum education
- High school or GED required
Skill/Knowledge Preferred for Transloader
- Transportation / tanker Industry experience
- Experience within the oil and gas or chemical industry
- Ability to work outside year round
- Strong Safety awareness
- Strong Mechanical aptitude
- Good communication skills and great people skills
- Understanding equipment utilization
- Knowledge of DOT and applicable Federal Regulation
