WHO YOU ARE:
We are seeking a detailed oriented Risk Management Analyst to join our team and play a crucial role in supporting insurance renewals, managing auto-liability and general liability claims, and overseeing certificates of insurance. In this role, you will collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure effective risk mitigation and compliance. WHAT YOU WILL DO:
The Risk Management Analyst will analyze, assess, and monitor risks related to team member injuries and compensation claims, while proactively identifying potential risk factors and implementing strategies to mitigate losses and ensure regulatory compliance. Job duties include:
- Risk Analysis & Assessment: Identify, analyze, and evaluate risks within the workers' compensation domain, including claims trends, safety issues, and injury patterns.
- Claims Monitoring: Track and review workers' compensation claims to assess accuracy, identify patterns, and recommend improvements for claims handling.
- Data Management & Reporting: Gather, analyze, and report on key metrics and trends related to workers' compensation claims. Prepare periodic reports for senior management.
- Compliance Oversight: Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations related to workers' compensation claims management and safety standards.
- Insurance Renewals: Coordinate and support the renewal process, including data gathering, preparing renewal documentation, and communicating with insurance carriers and brokers.
- Policy Management: Oversee the administration of auto and general liability policies, including monitoring coverage limits, deductibles, and policy changes.
- Collaboration: Work closely with external partners and internal Human Resources, Safety, and Legal teams to design and implement risk mitigation strategies.
- Policy Review & Improvement: Participate in the development and review of internal policies and procedures to minimize risks and optimize the claims process.
- Financial Impact Analysis: Analyze the financial impact of workers' compensation claims on the company and provide insights to improve cost efficiency.
- Vendor Management: Liaise with external vendors such as third-party claims administrators and legal counsel to manage claims effectively.
- Training & Development: Assist in developing training materials and conduct training sessions for team members on risk management policies and safety protocols.
- Other duties as assigned.
YOUR MUST HAVES:
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or a related field.
- 2-4 years of experience in risk management, insurance, workers' compensation, or a related field.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking abilities. Proficiency in data analysis tools and MS Excel.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly to stakeholders.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail in analyzing and interpreting data and trends.
OUR ENVIRONMENT:
This is a hybrid role, partially based at the Corporate Headquarters, combining time in a traditional office setting with remote work from your professional home office. You will be expected to work on-site at minimum three days a week. The position requires sitting for extended periods of time while working on a computer.
