Job Details
• Position: CDU (Clinical Decision "Observation" Unit) RN
• Start Date: ASAP (Tuesdays)
• Shift: 3 or 4x12HR options available
• Length: Willing to offer 13 or 26 week contracts
• Years of Experience Required: 2 years
• Ratios: 1:5 (D) 1:6 (NOC)
• Weekend Coverage: Every other
• Unit Average Daily Census: 40
• Patient info: Observation, general medical, post-op PCI, post-op general and gynecological surgery, short-stay inpatient and/or extended outpatient stay, GI bleed, SBO, ESRD, CHF, COPD, chronic bi-pap/C-pap, stable CIWA
• Limited isolation patients, no chemo, no peritoneal dialysis, no acute bi-pap, no hemodynamically unstable pre-op, no post-op requiring stepdown level of care
• Charting: EPIC
• **Floating is required. Travelers regularly float between various like units, within skill set!
