Description
The Northwest Ohio Hemophilia Treatment Center is a hospital outpatient department that specializes in the care of patients with bleeding disorders, clotting disorders and other benign hematological disorders. We are a comprehensive care center that specializes in the care of patients across the lifespan. Hemophilia Treatment Centers are federally designated and emphasize preventative services to help reduce or eliminate complications. We are also a Center for Excellence in the care of women/girls with bleeding.
Position Summary:
Works with Hemophilia Nurse Coordinator/clinical research coordinator on administrative duties to coordinate regulatory aspects of clinical research and data management. Organizes and maintains documentation of research activities in accordance with Institutional Review Board, government regulations and study sponsors. Coordinates data management, including Clinical Manager entry, training and retrieval for required reports and electronic submissions. Facilitates day-to-day activities as well as providing a timely and appropriate response to all requests from researchers, IRB, sponsors, and regulatory bodies.
High School Diploma or equivalent required, Associates degree preferred
Previous experience with medical terminology
Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to effectively communicate with physicians and staff members; excellent critical thinking skills
Ability to work independently and as a member of a team
Strong organizational skills and a sense of timeliness in completing projects
