Description:
The physical therapist would be seeing pelvic floor disorders for both men and women.
For this area, client offers a private room for treatment, and the caseload is 100% pelvic floor.
The staff member must demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients/customers served on his or her assigned unit.
The individual must demonstrate knowledge of the principles of growth and development of the life span and possess the ability to assess data reflective of the patient's/customer's status and interpret the appropriate information needed to identify each patient's/customer's requirements relative to his orher age-specific needs, and to provide the care needed by pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patient group.
Required Experience:
01 - 02 years' experience is required.
Specializing in Pelvic Floor Issues.
Required Education:
2 year associate degree from an accredited physical therapy assistant program.
Required Certifications & Licensure:
Current or eligible to practice as a Physical Therapy Assistant in New York State.
BLS required through the RQI system during clinical orientation.
Preferred Experience:
Experience with Microsoft Office products and electronic medical record.
