Schedule: Part-Time, Week 1: Sunday (7:45 AM – 4 PM), Friday (7:45 AM – 8 PM); Week 2: Saturday (7:45 AM – 4 PM), Friday (7:45 AM – 8 PM)

Position Overview:
ProHealth Care is seeking a Medical Assistant, EMT, or LPN to join our Mukwonago Urgent Care team. This part-time role features a unique schedule with weekend shifts, perfect for those seeking consistency in their work hours while gaining valuable clinical experience. Additionally, this role is eligible for shift differential pay on Saturday and Sunday shifts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Rooming patients, taking vital signs, and documenting patient history.
- Assisting providers with procedures, wound care, and splinting.
- Administering medications and injections as directed.
- Preparing and sterilizing exam rooms, equipment, and instruments.
- Performing lab draws and point-of-care testing.
- Managing patient flow and supporting urgent care operations.
- Communicating effectively with patients, families, and other clinical staff.
Qualifications:
- Medical Assistant: Certification is preferred but not required.
- LPN and EMT: Active licensure/certification required.
- Experience in an urgent care or ambulatory setting is a plus.
- Proficiency in basic clinical skills and electronic health record documentation (Epic experience is a plus).
- Strong communication skills and a positive approach to patient care.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Provides direct care to patients under the supervision and delegation of the Nurse Practitioner, Physician Assistant or Physician within ProHealth Medical Group. Provides care in partnership with the patient and their family, with the goal of supporting an optimal healing community.

- Efficiently prepare exam rooms by setting up proper equipment and supplies, following standard rooming workflows to prepare patients for provider exams, obtaining vital signs, health history verification, and ensuring accurate documentation in the EMR
- Clean exam rooms after each patient visit and maintain sufficient stock of supplies.
- Answer patient calls, obtain medical information, report test results, administer medications and vaccinations, prepare sterile fields, and assist with procedures as directed by providers.
- Perform therapeutic treatments, health screenings, specimen collection, Point of Care testing, and assist with splints or wound care under supervision.
- Respond to urgent situations, call for clinical assistance as needed, and assist in maintaining clinic medications, vaccinations, supplies, and equipment.
- Float to other departments or clinic locations as assigned by PHMG Leadership.
What you will Need:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Completion of Medical Assistant, EMT, LPN, or other equivalent clinical training program
- Current EMT B, LPN, or CMA license
- AHA BLS or ability to obtain upon hire
- 1 Year of experience, New graduates will be considered
Competitive Compensation: Starting pay is $18.06/hour for non-certified staff and $21.86/hour for certified or licensed staff. Pay increases with experience and additional qualifications.
