 We Are Hiring: Clinical Dietitian - NICU - Waukesha Memorial Hospital- .9 FTE- Days

 

 

Schedule Details: Monday-Friday, working 9 of 10 weekdays per pay period. Some flexibility with start time. No weekend or holiday requirements. Weekly NICU graduate clinic day on Thursday's. 

 

 

ProHealth Waukesha Memorial Hospital's Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) is a 22-bed facility providing specialized care for critically ill and premature infants born as early as 22 weeks gestation. The NICU recently unveiled a comprehensive renovation emphasizing family-centered care, featuring fully equipped private rooms designed to accommodate families, including those with twins and triplets. The unit is staffed 24/7 by a dedicated team of neonatologists, neonatal nurse practitioners, and support staff, offering services such as transport, lactation consultation, and post-discharge follow-up clinics.

What You Will Do:

 

The Clinical Dietitian collaborates with members of the health care team to provide medical nutrition therapy through assessment of nutrient requirements for age and disease specific needs of patients in order to develop and implement the patient's nutrition plan of care. The Dietitian also provides nutrition education to patients and family members.

 

What You Need:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Registered Dietitian; (State of WI license required within first three months of employment)
  • Must be able to communicate with others, patients and guests through a variety of methods such as electronic, phone, using interpretive services and face-to-face interaction.
