Description

Planned Pethood is expanding its services in Central Florida!  We are looking to add an Associate Veterinarian to our clinic in Lake Panasoffkee, Florida.  Planned Pethood Cares is a growing practice that serves the citizens and pets of Sumter County, Florida.  We offer services that include wellness exams, vaccinations, dental services, heartworm prevention and treatment, and surgery services. We are proud of our commitment to our community and the service we provide to its pets and citizens.

Our ideal candidate enjoys working with an experienced and passionate veterinary team. Planned Pethood Cares is set up to ensure the veterinarian's time is utilized efficiently.   This enables us to offer high-quality care at a swift pace.   Our staff is well-trained and dedicated to our mission.  It is a small clinic (less than 10 employees) so the employees maintain a real family atmosphere.

To that end, Planned Pethood supports a work-life balance.  To that end, the schedule for this position would be Monday – Thursday, 9 am – 3 pm, and still includes a competitive salary.  Also, Planned Pethood is part of a collection of clinics in three counties so we can support each other in vacations and emergencies.

Planned Pethood uses Avimark and can offer many services to provide the best comprehensive care for our patients. This includes wellness and sick patient exams, soft tissue surgery, dental services, digital x-rays, therapeutic laser, and in-house Abaxis diagnostics.  We also have a partner clinic nearly that will perform diagnostic abdominal ultrasounds on an as-needed basis.
