Position Overview
Pima Medical Institute is seeking experienced Registered Dental Hygienists for instructor positions in our Dental Hygiene program. We offer flexible opportunities for qualified candidates to serve in didactic instruction, clinical instruction, or combined roles.
Available Teaching Tracks Combined Didactic and Clinical Instructor

Based on the selected teaching track, responsibilities may include: Didactic Component
- Develop and deliver lecture content
- Create assessment materials and grade student work
- Prepare course materials and lesson plans
- Provide academic advisement
- Supervise student patient care
- Demonstrate clinical procedures
- Evaluate clinical skills
- Ensure safety and infection control compliance
- Current RDH license
- Bachelor's degree in Dental Hygiene or related field (Master's preferred)
- Minimum 3 years of clinical practice experience
- Teaching experience preferred
- Strong communication skills
