Pediatric Otolaryngologist – Phoenix Children's
Phoenix Children's is seeking BC/BE fellowship trained pediatric otolaryngologists to join our team of 10 surgeons and 6 advanced practice providers. This is a unique opportunity to become part of a young division in which every member takes pride in knowing that they help us to deliver exceptional family focused, equitable and accessible services to a diverse pediatric population.
Arizona and the greater phoenix area specifically is experiencing tremendous growth and our division is the major tertiary center in region for pediatric otolaryngology, head and neck surgery problems. This has led to the need for continued expansion of our team. In addition to clinical care, the successful applicant will also have the opportunity to advance the field with clinical or basic science research endeavors and to help guide the education of the next generation of providers with teaching opportunities involving residents and medical students from three local institutions. We are the pediatric arm for the Mayo Clinic Arizona Otolaryngology Residency program and we have academic affiliations with Mayo Clinic Medical School, University of Arizona College of Medicine – Phoenix and Creighton University Medical School.
Phoenix Children's main campus, located in the heart of Phoenix, is a full-service, freestanding, tertiary medical center, offering 433 licensed beds, 72 of which are dedicated to intensive care and 33 of which are NICU. We are a rapidly growing healthcare system, including: the state's only Level 1 Pediatric Trauma Center; a full-range of specialty services, including orthopedics, neurosciences, cardiovascular services, neonatology, and cancer and blood disorders; and a depth of high acuity specialties including heart, liver, kidney, bone marrow and stem cell transplantation. Our rapidly expanding network of care will include two new community pediatric hospitals and one new Emergency Department by the end of 2024, yielding a total of 610 licensed beds, making Phoenix Children's one of the largest pediatric healthcare systems in the country. Phoenix Children's is a teaching hospital, leading the way for the next generation of pediatric providers through residency programs and fellowships, and is actively involved in clinical research, dedicating $10 million annually to support research activities.
