- - (AHA) ACLS, BLS, NIH
- Job Details
- - 2 year recent exp in specialty
- - Float to less or like specialties where needed and qualified
- - Will float to MS/TELE, MS, and PCU
- - EPIC experience required
- - LA Fire card must get within 30 days (can sub without)
- - Orientation Details: There are no orientations for this position, please make sure candidates are comfortable working.
- - Shift Detail: 12-hour shifts
- - Additional Details: Charting system: Epic
- - Cardiac, transfers out of CVICU post open heart, post cath lab, minor arrhythmias, neuro, MS patients with Tele monitoring. The ratio on CVU is 4:1 unless patient acuity dictates otherwise then it maybe 3:1.
- - Has some low dose titratable drips like cardizem, bumex, heparin. An occasional cardioversion on unit.
- - Telemetry, IV pumps, O2, Pulse ox, Suction, accucheck
- - Candidate is responsible for completing up to 10 hours of Providence and specialty specific modules, independently before candidate will be cleared to work

- - Required Skills: Telemetry work settings, Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Management of dysrhythmias, Post Cardiac Angiogram, Post MI, Pre/Post Cardiac Cath, Pre/Post Cardiac Surgery, Heparin Protocols, Titrate Cardiac drips, Nasal Cannula, Oxygen face masks, Non-invasive airway management, High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC), Chest tubes-Emerson/Pleur-evac
