Position Summary:
Responsible for monitoring and analyzing the Commercial Rental product line. This role will gather and analyze financial, transactional and operational data, create dashboards and produce Corporate and field Ad-hoc reporting. Analyze data measuring past and current performance. This position is expected to work regularly with all leaders of the Rental organization as well as other internal support teams and will be proactive in generating information to drive process improvements.
Major Responsibilities:
• Create and Maintain dashboards and reports for Corporate and Field Rental management. Work with Corporate and Field management to analyze quotes, transactions, revenue and fleet. Identify issues and provide solutions based on analysis performed. Establish and maintain Rental information in a centralized location.
• Provide ad hoc reporting to senior Rental leadership and the field on the key metrics for the Commercial product line. Analyze metrics and translate information into actionable recommendations for Corporate and Field Rental Leadership.
• Ensure that reporting output is consistent with established metrics and methodologies. Perform analysis on existing data and identify root causes for any data inaccuracies, drive errors to resolution, work to ensure data integrity. Develop and implement approaches to improve the accuracy of data and the efficiency of collection & reporting.
• Validate actuals versus plan and analyze variances (year over year and month to month). Develop Business Plan proposals based on current spending and trends within the department.

Qualifications:
• BS in Business, Accounting, Finance, or Statistics preferred.
• Strong PC skills with Microsoft Office, Excel, and Access. Will be required to learn advanced Access/SQL skills along with Green Belt training if not currently trained in these areas. Prior analytical experience or technical experience in company would prepare someone for this.
• Ability to work efficiently and independently, and have a strong attention to detail.
• Strong oral and written communication skills a must.
• Ability to collaborate with others.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to travel as necessary, work the required schedule, work at the specific location required, complete Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening are required.
