Summary of Job Description:

The HR Shared Services Coordinator is responsible for taking, processing, and resolving standard inquiries from Operations associates on a wide variety of administrative topics covered by the HR Service Center/Workday inquiries, exhibiting strong guest service to all inquiries and accurately providing solutions.  This position applies the standard procedures accurately in resolving calls and emails on a timely basis and refers complex issues to higher tiers.  

You'll get a chance to:

  • Responsible for taking, processing, and resolving standard inquiries from Operations associates on a wide variety of administrative topics covered by the HR Service Center/Workday inquiries, exhibiting strong guest service to all inquiries and accurately providing solutions. 
  • Serve as the initial point of contact on most transactional HR needs and requests (recruiting, onboarding, transfer, termination flows), resolving and responding to associates promptly and accurately.
  • Draw on training, policy manuals, and other tools to quickly resolve the caller's requests or issues.  
  • Accurately uses the available database tools and systems to appropriately record the nature and solution of the call.
  • Troubleshoot standard technical issues within HR systems on an independent basis. 
  • Escalate issues to a higher tier when necessary.
  • Work with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to identify trends in questions and issues raised by associates, resulting in the SMEs making changes to content accessed by associates and their managers.

Work Environment:

  • Job may include weekends
  • Schedule may fluctuate
  • Hours of Business Monday-Saturday 7am-7pm, Sunday 8am-5pm PST
  • This is a remote position

Your background and experience: 

  • Bachelor's degree required.  
  • Minimum one year of experience, preferably in a retail/hospitality operations environment.
  • Successful completion of initial and periodically required trainings.
  • Obtaining a valid Food Handler's Card within 30 days of employment is a requirement of this position.
