Description

Orthopedic + Fracture Specialists is seeking an experienced (minimum 2 years) Full-Time Physician Assistant to join our dynamic team. This position will share time between assisting in surgery (approximately two days a week) and running a clinic practice schedule (approximately two-three days a week) along with a rotation in our hospital-based joint program (approximately 2 days per month).
The PA must have a strong desire to focus their clinical skills on general musculoskeletal acute and chronic injuries. The Physician Assistant will join the advanced practitioner team and be required to take evening and weekend call shared amongst 12 practitioners.

Job Duties:

  • Evaluate, diagnose, and treat acute and chronic orthopedic conditions
  • Work autonomously while maintaining a close working relationship with O+FS Physicians.
  • Provide exceptional medical care to patients with musculoskeletal conditions and strive to deliver our mission to "put our patient's life in motion."
  • Possess strong communication and display professionalism when working with patients, families and the community.
  • Demonstrate proficiency and comfort with all methods of patient electronic documentation and communication.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant Program
  • Current certification by the NCCPA
  • Active Oregon Physician Assistant license with no restrictions
  • Orthopedic experience preferred but not required.

Compensation Information:
Details:
Sign on bonus of $5,000. Call and after hours compensation. CEU allowance of $2500 per year. Cell/Technology quarterly stipend.
