After successful completion of the probationary period, employee will receive off probation wage increase.


Summary:

Under direct supervision of the Licensing Administrator, assist with the administrative functions and services of the License Department to include motor vehicle, vendor, marriage, food, notary public and alcohol licensing requirements on or within the Oneida Reservation boundaries. Ensure all responsible ordinances and licensing are in compliance with Tribal, State and Local Regulations. 


Responsibilities:

* Verify applicant's identification, enrollment number, eligibility and residence.
* Collect appropriate fees, issue receipts and record fee transactions.
* Order and maintain office and licensing supplies to effectively function as needed for staff and customers.
* Reconcile and deposit daily revenue generated from license issuance and registrations. Maintain clear records of all deposits.
* Perform office management functions as necessary for the day-to-day
* Maintain secure and accurate files
* Administer regular quality control of motor vehicle files by making updates based on Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WIDOT) error reports and send files.
* Act as a liaison to the Department of Transportation and a subject matter expert for the licensing department.
* Create and update informational materials for the general public, such as brochures, applications, flyers and newspaper announcements.
* Accept and process applications for license issuance and renewal for: vehicle registration, vendor license, marriage license, and alcohol license in accordance with the Oneida Nation ordinances, rules, and regulations.
* Receive, sort, log, and route mail
* Work collaboratively with internal and external customers on a regular basis by providing professional communication and support.
* Models and provides excellent customer service. Greets and assists the customer in person, by phone, and in writing in a professional manner.

* Operating various word-processing, spreadsheets, and database software programs in a Windows environment

* Ability to learn to operate standard office equipment such as but not limited to calculator, personal computer, credit card machine, OnBase, copier and fax machines

* High School Diploma

* Obtain within three (3) months of employment

Must be willing and able to obtain additional related education and training.

Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and adhere to the Nation Drug and Alcohol-Free Workplace Policy.

A Tuberculosis (TB) Screening and/or a 2 step TB Skin Test is required within thirty (30) days of employment.

Must provide a copy of diploma/degree, license, or certification upon employment.
