After successful completion of the probationary period, employee will receive off probation wage increase.


Summary:

This position will perform a variety of administrative and staff support duties which require excellent organizational and communication skills. Maintain student database which includes data entry and the scanning of all student records and documents. Provide a professional and courteous demeanor to assist and direct visitors.


Responsibilities:

* Answer and screen incoming calls and correspondence; determine purpose of calls, and forward calls to appropriate personnel, ensuring professional telephone etiquette.
* Welcome visitor and determine nature of business, and announce visitors to appropriate personnel, maintaining professional and courteous demeanor.
* Establish and maintain an effective filing and retrieval system which includes logging and scanning student documents/forms into applicable databases (i.e. AS400, OnBase).
* Process student mailings and assist with all other mail activities including but not limited to logging and distribution of incoming and outgoing mail, student newsletters, birthday cards, graduation cards, etc.
* Transmit outgoing faxes, and retrieve, log, and distribute incoming faxes; photocopy, collate, distribute, and file documents as requested.
* Maintain financial records; process accounts payable, purchasing and travel documents; prepare and issue receipts for payments and maintain inventory of office supplies.
* Arrange travel, prepare and submit travel-related documents, and maintain travel information as necessary.
* Prepare correspondence, report, minutes, agendas, memos, forms, directories, resolutions, ordinances, and other documents and communications from drafts, recordings, or verbal instruction as requested.
* Edit and review all correspondence and documents for correct grammar, punctuation, and spelling.
* Schedule of department events and activities; manage department and Director's calendar.
* Attend meetings and take minutes as requested.
* Maintain and operate scanner, office machines, equipment and computers, Perform or coordinate general maintenance and repairs
* Contribute to a team effort and accomplish related results as required

Education Requirement - Or A Closely Related Field:

Education with Equivalent Qualifications:
Essential:
* General Ed, High School Equivalency Diploma, HS Diploma
Nonessential:
* Associates Degree

* Child Abuse Reporting Policy (CARP)
* Ability to complete Oneida certification on reporting Child Abuse and neglect within three months of employment.

Must be willing and able to obtain additional related education and training.

Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and adhere to the Nation Drug and Alcohol-Free Workplace Policy.

A Tuberculosis (TB) Screening and/or a 2 step TB Skin Test is required within thirty (30) days of employment.

Must provide a copy of diploma/degree, license, or certification upon employment.
