- Certifications: ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support, BLS - Basic Life Support, PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support, NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure, Tech Cert Verification - National, HIPAA Safety Manual Acknowledgement, State License 1 Verification, NURSYS Verification (RN, LPN/LVN, AP), NIH Stroke Certification

- Required to float within units of equivalent or lower level of acuity.

- SKILLS REQUIRED: IV START—GEN NURSING SKILLS SUCH AS IV'S, MONITORING, LABS, MEDICATION ADMIN, PATIENT EDUCATION

- Additional Details
- Check UD/Unit Cost Center Link to determine certifications required per unit.
- AHA only (Instructor/Provider and RQI acceptable). Letter of completion not acceptable.
- Travelers can renew ACLS, BLS, PALS at the facility.
- Required for ER, ER OB, and ER Psych.
- For Aya only. All RN/LVN candidates must complete Medication Test/Pharmacology Competency Exam prior to start.
- Unit-Specific Competency Exam Required
- Dysrhythmia/EKG Exam required for ALL RNs WITHIN 1 YEAR OF START - must score a minimum of 80%.
