    Certification Details
  • BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required.
  • BLS and ACLS must be completed through American Heart Association, American Health and Safety, or American Red Cross.
  • Traveler must pass the BCA testing during the first week of assignment.
  • Travelers that do not pass the BCA (basic cardiac arrhythmia) test will be dismissed.
    Job Details
  • 75 MILE STRAIGHT LINE RADIUS RULE (not driving distance) - NO LOCAL TRAVELERS -Please only submit candidates that are aware of their submission to our facility.
  • Please do not allow candidates to contact facility.
  • 2 years experience current required in a 15 plus bed intensive care unit required.
  • Must be a team player, flexible and accustomed to fast-paced environment.
  • Must have successfully completed at least one 13-week travel assignment.
  • When submitting candidates include a resume, and completed skills checklist/competency assessment.
    Job Requirements
  • Please only submit candidates with an active NM or compact license.
  • Time off requests must be disclosed with initial submission to be considered for approval.
  • Time off requested after the acceptance date will not be approved.
    Schedule Information
  • 12 hour varied position - Start time - 0700/1900
  • On call, weekends, holidays and float as needed - At alternate location
  • Will float to progressive care unit and med/surg.
  • Will float to ICU to care for tele patients boarding in ICU.
  • Will float to ED to care for admitted inpatients holding for bed or as helping hands.
  • Shifts may fluctuate to fulfill department staffing needs.
  • Travelers are first to float within facility and to alternate locations within 20 miles of permanent assigned location.

  • Traveling pairs are not guaranteed same schedules or same shifts.
    Additional Details
  • Travelers must not have been an employee of the Presbyterian Healthcare Services system for 12 months from last day worked, in order to be considered for a travel position.
  • State tax is passed through to your agency and will be reflected on your invoice. The state tax should be paid to the state of New Mexico.
