- Job Details
- RTO after booking is not allowed and is not allowed to be worked out onsite. Any call offs or additional RTO on unit, could possibly turn into a cancel and DNR.
- Job offers 36 hours per week, with the possibility of a 13-week contract extending up to March 15, 2025.
- Unit helps support nurses with plans in place for situations when patient ratios increase due to call outs.
- Floating may be required to other units with similar skill levels or tasks.
- During the first week, hospital orientation is mandatory with availability for classes each day.
- Job Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of experience.
- Accepts first-time travelers only if they have EPIC experience.
- Must have experience with IV Start, managing some non-titratable Cardiac Drips, and monitoring Telemetry patients.
- Schedule Information
- Shift: 12HR DAYS.
- Weekend requirement: Every other weekend.
- Contract hours are 36 hours per week.
- Maximum of 7 days of RTO allowed.
- Scheduling is managed by the unit.
- Unit Specific Information
- The unit has a target patient ratio of 1:6-7.
- May see 7 patients only in rare cases due to last-minute call outs.
- Additional Details
- Unit manages patients with medical and post-surgical diagnoses and has remote telemetry monitoring systems.
- Unit uses medication, documentation, and communication systems such as Pyxis, EPIS, SBAR.
- Uniform requires navy blue, white, or a combination of navy/white scrubs.
