- AHA-RQI and AHA instructor cards are acceptable for required certifications, which can be accessed and reviewed in the Unit Description
- Job Details
- Target Ratios: 1:6-7.
- *36 or 48 Hours can be offered. IF Accepting 48 Hours, No OT until after 48 Hours.
- Unit will accept contracts from 13 weeks+ up to March 15, 2025 (hard stop) to get the Unit through the Holidays!
- Shift: 12 HR NIGHTS; 18:45 - 07:15
- Float Requirement: Yes (Sister Units).
- Weekend Requirement: every other.
- Patient diagnoses: 24 bed medsurg/tele overflow unit; 1:6 ratio with CNAs to help support (1:12). Teamwork oriented environment in collaboration with Novant Inpatient Care Specialists (NICS).
- Special Procedures: Telemetry is monitored on another unit by a tech. Nurse must be able to correctly treat dysrhythmias.
- Unit Systems: Pyxis, Epic, SBAR
- Unit Orientation: 36 hours, Hospital Orientation week one; must be available for classes each day.
- Job Requirements
- Minimum Years of Experience: 1 year
- Traveler Experience required: No first-time travelers. Unit WILL NOT ACCEPT 1st Time Travelers

- RTO after booking is not allowed and is not allowed to be worked out onsite. Any call offs or additional RTO on unit, could possibly turn into a cancel and DNR
