Primary Purpose:  A Training Specialist Transportation focuses on delivering technical training material to transportation related crafts. Strong communication skills, written and verbal, are fundamental to achieving success in the position. A thorough understand of operating rules, policies, procedures, and learning principles is essential.

Principle Duties:

• • Deliver technical training through classroom facilitation, hands-on demonstrations, and simulations
  • Provide coaching and feedback to employees and trainees to empower them to reach their full potential
  • Evaluate trainees' skills and performance
  • Review and evaluate current training materials/practices
  • Measure the effectiveness of training programs
  • Collaborate across the Human Resources department
  • Perform all course administrative functions

Education:  Preferred Level – Bachelor's Degree

Required: Conductor Certification and minimum 1 year experience

Preferred: Locomotive Engineer Certification; RCO

Skills and Abilities:
