Description

The Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai affiliated with NYC Health + Hospitals/Elmhurst and Queens is seeking a part time (32 hours per week) Urologist. We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated physician interested in working with an urban, ethnically diverse, underserved population in a dynamic and supportive academic setting. The hospital is easily accessible by public transportation and car from all areas of New York City, New Jersey and Long Island.

Responsibilities will include direct patient care and the teaching and supervision of Mount Sinai Urology residents and students in an academic community hospital setting. We are most in need of general urology but have subspecialty need for urologists with additional experience in reconstruction, female/pelvic medicine, voiding dysfunction and endourology.

Candidates must have an MD degree and be board certified/board eligible by the American Board of Urology with a valid New York State License, DEA and Medicaid number. We also offer a faculty appointment with the Icahn School of Medical at Mount Sinai commensurate with credentials, experience and qualifications. The base salary for this position is $253,792 plus benefits and faculty practice distributions throughout the academic year. Scheduling is flexible and call responsibilities will be no more than 1 in 4 and are also flexible.
