Salary: Base salary of $220,000 annually plus a sign-on bonus of $40,000.

Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Pediatric Hospitalist Physician to join our dynamic team. As a Pediatric Hospitalist Physician at Meritus Health, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to pediatric patients admitted to our hospital. You will collaborate closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for our young patients.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care to pediatric patients admitted to the hospital.
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Coordinate care with specialists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
- Communicate effectively with patients and their families, providing education and support.
- Participate in multidisciplinary rounds and case conferences.
- Adhere to hospital policies, procedures, and quality standards.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and clinical research as appropriate.
Qualifications:
- Medical degree from an accredited medical school.
- Board certification or eligibility in Pediatrics.
- Completion of a Pediatric residency program.
- Current state medical license and DEA registration.
- Strong clinical skills and knowledge of evidence-based practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
- Commitment to providing compassionate care to pediatric patients and their families.
