Exciting New Incentives: 

 

Loan Repayment Assistance Program up to $20,000 Lifetime: The Respiratory Loan Repayment Assistance Program provides financial support to our Mercy Respiratory co-workers in a 24X7 hospital based eligible position who are in a .4 FTE and above, working 32 hours or more per pay period. The program offers monthly payments made directly to the loan servicer up to the amount of $370 per month and up to $20,000 for a lifetime maximum.? 


Overview:

 

Location: Mercy Hospital Fort Smith 

 

Must have an excellent knowledge of all Respiratory Care procedures and modalities regarding the neonate including Critical Care, High Frequency Ventilation, newborn physiology, and Blood Gas analysis. Their knowledge base should be sufficient to evaluate, initiate, and decide appropriate intervention for the neonate. Skills levels must be maintained and documented annually for outside transport of Neonates.


Qualifications:

 

  • Education: Must be a graduate from an approved School for Respiratory Care
  • Licensure: Must be licensed by the States of Arkansas and Oklahoma to practice Respiratory Care
  • Experience: Must have a working knowledge of Neonatal Respiratory Care including Ventilator Management and Blood Gas Analysis
  • Certifications: Must have passed the Certification Exam (CRT) given by the NBRC Must be current in CPR , NRP and STABLE
  • Other: Must be able to work with computers in a health care environment.
  • Preferred Education: Associate Degree
  • Preferred Experience: Previous Experience working in a Level III NICU
  • Preferred Certifications: Neonatal / Pediatric Specialist PALS
  • Preferred Other: Advanced Computer Skills Ability to learn and work with computerized equipment and patient care applications.
