Overview:

 

This position provides the necessary clerical, data and financial management, and operational coordination for the department. Utilizes exceptional organizational, customer service and communication skills. Exercises independent judgment and confidentiality in assisting with operational details.

 


Qualifications:

  • Experience: 3 to 5 years minimum working as a office manager or department assistant
  • Required Education: : High School plus specialized training (minimum 6 months) 
  • Preferred Experience:  2 or more years of formal training in data management, accounting, purchasing, or                                                  office management
  • Certifications: Valid Drivers License for all Mercy locations
  • Other: Requires strong oral and written communication skills to communicate with customers and follow instructions.  Verbal ability required to read and understand manuals.   Numerical ability required to make calculations.Ability to prioritize work assignments, conceptualize and formulate finished product.  Ability to performance manage suppliers and contractors.  Requires proficient and proven knowledge and use of various computer software such as Microsoft Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel.  Must have experience with data base management.Ability to manage time and materials efficiently.   Completes work assignments in a high-quality manner and the lowest cost to Mercy.  Requires exceptional customer service skills and ability to achieve department goals.Able to manage multiple priorities
