Position: Hearing Technician
Dept: Audiology - Mercy STL
Shift: Days - Per Diem - Scheduled starts at 7:30am and goes until all babies are tested. Weekend rotation - every third weekend, options to pick up additional shifts.

Overview:
Provides hearing screening evaluation of newborn infants and obtains appropriate case history information. Works with healthcare personnel to provide customer service excellence in testing, communication and personal interactions with families, coworkers and other professionals. Performs duties in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and mercy standards.
Qualifications:
Education: Associates degree or equivalent college credit.
Experience: Prior patient care experience.
Other: The position requires excellent ability to communicate effectively with health care professionals and patients families.
Must be able to effectively interact with public and provide customer satisfaction.
Preferred Education: Bachelor's degree, healthcare related.
Preferred Experience: Prior hearing testing experience
