Overview:
The Director of Grateful Patient and Stewardship at Mercy Health Foundation will oversee the strategic development, implementation, and management of comprehensive fundraising initiatives to drive donor acquisition, as well as direct centralized stewardship efforts. The Director of Grateful Patients and Stewardship will lead the Grateful Patient Program at Mercy Health Foundation, fostering relationships with patients and their families who wish to express their gratitude through philanthropy. This role involves identifying, cultivating, and stewarding grateful patients, working closely with clinical staff, and developing strategies to enhance patient engagement and support for the Foundation's mission.
Qualifications:
- Experience: 7 years of experience in fundraising, with at least 5 years in a healthcare or nonprofit setting
- Required Education: Bachelor's degree in Nonprofit Management, Business Administration, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
- Other: Proven track record of successful program development and management in grateful patient fundraising, annual giving, and stewardship.• Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations and patient privacy considerations.• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.• Ability to work collaboratively with clinical staff, donors, and volunteers.• Proficiency in fundraising software and donor management systems.• Strategic Thinking: Ability to develop and implement long-term fundraising strategies.• Relationship Building: Strong skills in cultivating and maintaining relationships with donors and stakeholders.• Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire a team.• Analytical Skills: Proficiency in analyzing donor data and fundraising metrics to inform decision-making.• Integrity: Commitment to ethical fundraising practices and donor confidentiality.
