Overview:

 

This individual is responsible to food production in all areas of the department. A knowledge of all methods of cookery is required for this position. The individual must be able to produce a quality, eye appealing product within an allotted amount of time. Performs related duties as assigned.


Qualifications:

  • Education: None.
  • Licensure: Food Handler within 180 days.
  • Experience: 2 or more years of food service experience preffered
  • Certifications: None.
  • Other: Skills, knowledge and abilities:
    • Excellent integrity
    • Takes initiative
    • Good moral character
    • Effectively communicate in English, both orally and written
    • Basic Math Skills
    • Time Management Skills
    • Great interpersonal skills
    • Working Conditions, Mental and Physical Requirements: Equipment Used: All food preparation equipment including oven, grill, chopper, slicer, blender, mixer, and steamer
    • Also able to push, pull and grip 50 pounds and pinch 10 pounds.
  • Preferred Education: High school diploma or its equivalent.
  • Preferred Certifications: Serve Safe Certification.
