Description
The Unit Clerk is accountable for the provision of clerical service to a specific patient care center to include direct and indirect communication, coordination of information and resources in a safe and efficient environment. The incumbent in this position will work in a 'float' capacity where the individual will be required to work within various different departments based on clinical need.
Education
- High School Diploma or GED required or
- Less than 1 year 6 months of hospital or health service related experience preferred
- The ideal candidate must have excellent customer service skills, sensitivity to patients and family members, be able to work in a team with various healthcare professionals, ability to multi task in a fast paced environment and be highly organized.
