Description
The Department of Pathology at MedStar Washington Hospital Center is recruiting for a Staff Pathologist. MedStar Washington Hospital Center is an 850-bed acute care academic medical center, the largest in Washington, DC, and is part of MedStar Health, serving as a major tertiary care hospital for the metropolitan DC area.
The Pathologist candidate must be Board Certified/Eligible either in both Anatomic Pathology and Clinical Pathology, or just Anatomic Pathology. Fellowship-trained or strong interest and experience in Hematopathology and coverage of Transfusion Medicine are strongly preferred.
The candidate would be part of a ten-member group and would provide specialty support to our busy Hematopathology service, work under the current Director of Transfusion Medicine and provide some general surgical pathology duties.
