We are looking for a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Outpatient Cardiology team at MedStar Georgetown University Hospital, with potential for one day per week at MedStar Washington Hospital Center. We're helping move cardiovascular care forward regionally and nationally through our MedStar Heart & Vascular Institute, with clinical research, better diagnostic tools, and advanced treatments that are always patient focused.

In this role, the PA/NP would be responsible for clinic visits for cardiology hospital follow up, as well as ongoing cardiology visits for patients requiring additional visits between physician availability. They will be working in a well-staffed facility with 2 full-time APP's, 10 Clinical Cardiologists as well as PRN staff. Within this specialty, this provider will have immediate access to very experienced APP peers and physicians to learn and grow in their career. The scheduling for this role will be Monday – Friday, 4 10 hr. shifts per week, schedule to be dictated by clinic availability. Candidates must be flexible in being available between the two locations

Minimum Qualifications:
Education/Training
Graduate from an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner Program.
Experience
License/Certification/Registration
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Verbal and written communication skills. Basic computer skills preferred.
