General Summary of Position
Facilitates the inpatient admission of appropriate rehabilitation patients to MedStar National Rehabilitation Network (MNRN) by obtaining accurate clinical data through performing on-site and record/telephone patient evaluations. Individuals in this role are responsible for educating the referring staff of community hospitals, patients, family members and external payers regarding the effective and efficient utilization of MNRN program services and resources.

Minimum Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor's degree required and
- Nursing required or
- degree in allied health. required and
- Will consider relevant work experience in lieu of education. required
Experience
- 3-4 years Minimum 2 years of rn or allied health experience where the individual has demonstrated knowledge of health care delivery systems, rehabilitation medicine, and third party payers reimbursement issues. required
Licenses and Certifications
- RN - Registered Nurse - State Licensure and/or Compact State Licensure Current RN or allied health license issued by the state required at the time of hire. required and
- CRRN - Certified Rehabilitation Registered Nurse CRRN required within 2 years of employment, if team member is a nurse. required and
- DL - Valid State Driver's License in good standing Valid driver's license required
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Must have thorough understanding of the process of rehabilitation, expert physical assessment and patient/family education skills.
This position has a hiring range of $72,758 - $130,041
