Job Summary:

Oversees and drives the success of the Agency Support and Licensing teams. This role is pivotal in shaping the overall agent experience, ensuring the seamless onboarding of new agents/producers, maintaining ongoing compliance with licensing requirements as well as continuous support of a growing distribution channel with evolving needs. This role develops and executes strategies that enhance operational efficiency, foster innovation, and deliver measurable results in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.   This role is located in the Eastern or Central time zone.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervises the Agency Support and Licensing teams, fostering a high-performance culture by developing leadership skills within the teams, evaluating performance, providing actionable feedback, and driving effective resolution of challenges.
  • Leads the continuous evaluation and optimization of operational processes, implements innovative improvements to enhance agent satisfaction, streamlines workflows, and drives cost efficiency across the organization.
  • Leverages advanced data analytics and quantitative insights to inform business decisions, showcasing measurable contributions to the organization. Develops and maintains robust reporting and performance metrics for daily production across both teams, aligning outcomes with broader business goals.
  • Collaborates closely with senior stakeholders across key functions—Agency, Operations Finance, Procurement, Legal/Compliance, and Technology—to align departmental efforts with organizational objectives, ensuring seamless support for evolving business needs.
  • Ensures the compliant onboarding of new agents/producers, maintains rigorous adherence to company policies and industry regulations, while proactively identifies and mitigates compliance risks.
  • Drives strategic initiatives beyond day-to-day operations, taking on high-impact projects that further elevate the organization's competitive positioning and agent experience.
  • Performs other duties as assigned


Qualifications

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and experience directly related to the role may substitute for a degree
  • 7 years of progressive relevant experience
  • Minimum of three (3) years' working in a health insurance and/or operations role

Professional Certification(s):

  • Health Insurance License preferred

Technical Skills and Knowledge:

  • Strong leadership skills, demonstrated record of achieving goals, promoting accountability and facilitating change across teams.  Confident ability to drive tasks through to completion.
  • Results-oriented, self-motivated and self-managed leader having ownership mentality
  • Strong business and financial acumen
  • In-Depth knowledge of health insurance industry
  • Proficiency in licensing techniques, terminology and procedures
  • Ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders
  • Ability to conceptualize, achieve results
