  • Level 2 North is a 28-bed Medical Surgical Unit with a diverse patient population consisting of general and vascular surgery, bariatric surgery, plastic surgery, trauma, and is the stroke unit for the hospital.
  • It is a challenging fast-paced environment with great learning opportunities for both graduate and experienced nurses.
  • Nursing on this unit is patient-centered and focused on patient safety and delivery of quality care for positive patient outcomes.

    Schedule Information
  • McLaren Northern has incorporated a strict 3 strike attendance policy to advocate for their patient population. Any RN contractor who is absent from a scheduled shift or is more than 20 minutes late for their scheduled shift 3 times will be terminated effective immediately.
  • Situations such as a communicable disease or hospitalization with supporting evidence will be reviewed in favor of the contractor.
  • This policy will begin on 6/1/2024.

  • References NOT required.
  • A skills checklist completed within one year of application for RN specialties is required.
  • Michigan license verification is required for nurses.
  • Physical copies of certifications are only required in the profile if listed.
  • Full-time employees of McLaren are not eligible for contract hire within six months of employment.
