Title and Summary

VP - Product Readiness and Advisory Overview
Cross-Border Services focuses on new payment flows to consumers, including cross-border Person-to-Person (P2P) payments, Business-to-Business (B2B), and Government Disbursements, and Remittances.

Cross -Border Services leads the development and deployment of MasterCard Cross-Border payment products and services to the market and holds direct accountability for the end-to-end customer experience, managing the product life cycle, developing new features, use cases and target segments for the product. This includes dynamic consultation and management of both business and technical facets for Product Management and leading both internal and external partners towards successful execution.

The Vice President, Product Readiness and Advisory, is responsible for ensuring pristine and detailed product documentation, stakeholder feature and business advisory, and new market expansion and enablement. The role will report into the Senior Vice President – Cross Border Services.

Responsibilities
• Ensure that all Product features are properly documented and that all stakeholders are trained on these features
• Own the end-to-end framework for the client journey, from contracting through to go-live
• Provide product expertise to various regions during customer meetings and ensure that the product is positioned and sold accurately.
• Effectively communicate and educate regional sales teams on cross-border capabilities and up incoming initiatives/enhancements.
• Manage the pipeline for market expansion, working with multiple stakeholders to ensure all expansions are fully in line with all regulatory obligations
• Lead and develop a multi-national, multi-regional team

• Strong background in knowledge management and advisory in the Payments industry
• Process oriented with a keen eye for detail
• A deep understanding of currency markets and FX management
• Extensive people management and leadership experience
• Experience and understanding of Payment Operations
• An organized and strategic thinker that has a high level of self-motivation and initiative.
• Superior written and verbal communications skills, succinctly communicating the product roadmap and vision.
