Title and Summary

Senior Vice President, NAM Network Services Lead Overview:
The Services organization is a key driver of growth for Mastercard providing cutting-edge services that help our customers grow. Bringing together our unique and proprietary data, technology, insights and expertise into a single organization, Services relentlessly focuses on meeting the needs of our customers, acting as a critical part of our business growth. Representing over a third of Mastercard revenues, Services is a key differentiator for Mastercard.

The Network Services team focuses on further optimizing the Mastercard network to accelerate sales activities and drive value for our clients at scale. We are seeking a Senior Vice President, NAM Network Services Lead who will provide regional oversight to drive business growth. They will work closely with the NAM Services Leadership Team as well as the Global Network Sales team to ensure local relevance and competitive advantage in the region. The role will directly report into the NAM Services Lead with close partnership with Global Services Pricing team.

Role:
- Lead and grow the Network Services business across the NAM region.
- Manage a regional team with P&L with focus on achieving revenue target.
- Acts as key conduit between network/partner sales teams in global reporting lines and regional business development and product teams
- Develop and shape the regional strategy to further accelerate and optimize Services network/partner revenue outlook within the region
- Collaborates across all global network/partner sales teams to identify opportunities for upsell and pricing initiatives
- Partners with regional product teams and other RSL directs to embed network/partner sales into account strategies
- Collaborates with regional BD teams to incorporate holistic view of offerings available to customers
- Works with regional Legal and Franchise teams to navigate regulatory issues/competitive pressures impacting our ability launch opt-out programs and/or for assessment of possible mandates
- Builds relationships with key external customers while remaining in close alignment with the BD operating model
- Be a thought leader and subject matter expert for both Mastercard and our customers.
- Manage and grow a geographically diverse team. Recruit, retain and develop high-performing team.



All About You:
- Strong commercial acumen with creative problem-solving skills. Proven strength in navigating complex organizational matrix
- Ability to think strategically and develop account expansion strategies that expand the network/partner sales footprint
- Strong sales acumen and negotiation skills to identify upsell and pricing opportunities, overcome objections, and close revenue-generating initiatives
- Capability to navigate across the internal Mastercard organization to accelerate collaboration and lead across dual / matrixed reporting structures
- Ability to quickly learn a cross-section of network/partner offerings outside of own historical exposure / domain
- Demonstrates the ability to develop “out of the box” solutions and to create support for initiatives across organization and geographies.
- Strong entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to translate Global strategy into relevant stories for client and/or market propositions.
- Lead complex, international, cross-functional programs.
- Ability to influence and motivate others to achieve objectives and to set a strategic vision of the business across the region. Demonstrated ability to develop strategic plans.
- Growth mindset, comfortable navigating in rapidly changing environments. Experience working in an international and matrix environment is highly desirable.
- Strong analytical skills and experience managing P&Ls to successful outcomes including navigating market and regulatory dynamics.
- Strong people leader with the ability to build highly motivated and successful teams.
- Strong written, presentation and verbal communications skills. Acts with a sense of urgency and strong track record on delivering results. In line with Mastercard's total compensation philosophy and assuming that the job will be performed in the US, the successful candidate will be offered a competitive base salary based on location, experience and other qualifications for the role and may be eligible for an annual bonus or commissions depending on the role.
