Title and Summary

Senior Analyst, Meeting & Travel Services Overview:
Are you experienced in meeting and event planning, and adept in office or administrative procedures? Do you excel at leading and collaborating with mid-level business leaders to seamlessly integrate brand and meeting objectives into event designs? Are you skilled at steering cross-functional teams to successfully manage the tactical and operational aspects of meetings and events? Do you thrive in a fast-paced, high-visibility environment? Are you entrepreneurial, detail-oriented, and passionate about the meetings, events, and hospitality industry?

Role:
Aligns meeting frameworks with global company strategic initiatives.
Manages a portfolio of smaller, less complex meetings.
Partners with mid-level leaders to define meeting program scope and objectives.
Develops and executes comprehensive project plans for assigned meetings, including:
Collaborating with clients, peers, and third-party partners across various regions and time zones.
Leading project update meetings with business owners, including setting discussion guides, decision points, and presentations to ensure project timelines are met.
Managing event budgets with guidance from leadership.
Planning and leading site inspections, as needed.
Overseeing third-party management, including destination management, onsite staffing, production, and transportation.
Ensuring compliance with risk management and internal process approvals.
Building and managing effective event staffing plans, seeking leadership support when necessary.
Coordinating with clients on content elements such as keynote speakers and entertainment in collaboration with marketing, communications, and sponsorship teams.
Designing and approving menus and banquet event orders.
Analyzing cost savings and avoidance on a per-meeting basis.
Advising on program enhancements like upgrades, gifts, and pre-arrival experiences.
Serving as Mastercard's Brand Ambassador and main onsite contact for flawless execution, with support from leadership for senior meetings and events.
Managing attendee reminders, communications, logistics grids, and show-flows.
Preparing and delivering post-event briefings.
Enhances the visibility of meeting services while driving cost savings and efficiency.
Identifies and implements opportunities for process and procedure improvements.
Leads annual reviews of the meeting and event portfolio to assess innovation opportunities, process improvements, and operations management to support CMS client retention.
Contributes to process improvements, change management, and compliance with company policies.

All About You:
Proven experience in designing, planning, and executing corporate meetings.
Proficient in managing complex projects involving multiple stakeholders.
Strong skills in budget management, forecasting, and analysis.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Extensive experience in the meetings, events, and hospitality industry.
Ability to make decisions under pressure while maintaining professionalism.
Effective communicator with all levels of management.
Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and timeliness.
Agile and adaptable to change.
Advanced knowledge of Cvent Technology Tool is highly preferred.
Willingness to travel up to 30% as needed for event support. In line with Mastercard's total compensation philosophy and assuming that the job will be performed in the US, the successful candidate will be offered a competitive base salary based on location, experience and other qualifications for the role and may be eligible for an annual bonus or commissions depending on the role.
