Overview
Mastercard has a vision to build a leadership position as the only truly multi-rail payments technology company and Europe is at the forefront in defining and executing our multi-rail strategy.

Mastercard Western Europe is looking for a Expert Sales Manager to drive our Mastercard Move business and to continue leading in this constantly evolving business environment and to further strengthen our position.
Role
In this customer facing position we expect you to act as a business owner, managing the long-term and short-term strategic initiatives for the commercialization of Cross Border Services and Mastercard SEND in the Western European division of Mastercard.

The role oversees go-to-market strategy, business development / sales (including sales force training), and management of the divisional P&L, while maintaining a constant alignment with the regional product team and other global New Payment Platforms teams to guarantee product's evolutions in line with European markets' needs. In this role you will:
• Develops solution's value propositions for the different key customer / verticals
• Evaluates business cases, new business models, agreements and partnership to improve solution's footprint and competitiveness
• Leads market analysis and recommends ways to leverage market analysis to inform product and go-to-market strategies
• Partner with Customer Solutions Center Lead (CSC Lead) and other stakeholders in the region to identify business opportunities, shortlist and select qualified prospects and deliver sales targets
• Work with various stakeholders to ensure seamless implementation.
• Selects and monitors KPIs that assess solution performances and utilizes insights to ideate innovative BD approaches
• Advocates for and champions Mastercard MOVE internally and externally

All About You
The ideal candidate for this position should have:
• Extensive experience executing business development across different payment types, technologies and customer segments
• Experience in Cross Border Payments or Card push payments is required, understanding of market economics and dynamics of FX rates is a plus
• Successful track record managing P&L and sales objectives
• Experience executing strategies into clear action plans
• Self-motivation and the ability to complete complex tasks with limited direction.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification. Advanced degree or MBA preferred
• Proficiency in Spanish and English is required. French or Italian will be valued.
• Strong presence & communication skills
• Proven team player with ability to work with all levels in a highly intellectual, collaborative, and fast paced environment
