Overview
Interchange Solutions team within the Commercial New Payment Flows organization is seeking to build a diverse strategic and consultative workforce of world-class B2B payment experts, problem-solvers and technologists. We are pursuing highly motivated individuals who display strong achievement orientation, intellectual curiosity, openness, resilience, diligence, and the ability to effectively marshal resources. We align our team to compete and differentiate based on customer intimacy, product and solution strength, and partnership orientation.

The Interchange Solutions team is looking for Director, Product Development to assure our Interchange Solutions across MFP, VIP and MWP remain the best and most innovative in the market and our partners to have access to the best Mastercard solutions available. The ideal candidate combines a strong numerical skills, product and economic landscape with a passion to interact with internal and external stakeholders, is highly motivated, intellectually curious, analytical, and possesses an entrepreneurial mindset.

Role
The Director, Product Development Interchange Solutions
• Anticipate market and customer trends by monitoring and analyzing industry data and Mastercard data. Leverage these insights and analyses to support CNPF & Corporate Solutions in taking business and strategy decisions.
• Create global wide intelligence through research and analysis with a data-driven approach.
• Provide research services for internal and external use – how the B2B payments ecosystem is evolving, where Mastercard sits within that ecosystem, and directing where we need to invest to protect and grow our business.
• Provide analytical support to senior management in the development and execution of strategic initiatives.
• Craft and lead socialization of plans and documentation for the NEB and RPIC.
• Keep pulse on the macro-environment alongside sales and strategy functions
• Assist in creating compelling narratives, supported by data to support client conversations and events
• Liaising with Interchange Solutions legal representation for any needs related to proposals and approvals.
• Assist in budgeting & forecasting for business growth, development and tracking of key KPIs

• Undergraduate degree required; MBA or relevant post graduate degree recommended
• You can communicate complex ideas effectively – both verbally and in writing.
• You possess excellent relationship management skills, presentation skills, a good level of financial and technical acumen
• Extensive experience drawing key insights from data to build and manage business cases and inform strategy
• Experience structuring and managing financial deals
• Cross-functional project management and ability to lead and influence partners
