Director, Authentication Product Architect Director, Authentication Product ArchitectOverview
The Mastercard Authentication Program owns how consumer authentication works for both in-store and e-commerce transactional use cases. Its primary purpose is to develop and deliver best-of-breed authentication products for transactional use cases that will drive uptake and penetration for the products and revenue for Mastercard. The authentication products that fall within this role's responsibilities are ID Check, Biometric Checkout, Token Authentication Service and Token Authentication Framework.
Role
As the Director, Authentication Product Architect within the Authentication Architecture & Design team, you will be the authenticator subject matter expert. You will be the design authority for all authenticator development and contribute to innovation, leading the development from idea to implementation, including building working prototypes. You will have the opportunity to guide and conceive new authenticator standards and certification.
• Provide authenticator subject matter expertise to product and engineering teams
• Assess feasibility and propose new biometric authenticator solutions
• Design and develop working authenticator prototypes
• Support product team to define relevant Epics, Features and Stories
• Help drive a strategic roadmap for authenticators
All About You
• Relevant degree in engineering or maths
• Hands-on experience and efficiency on languages for developing authenticators
• Practical biometrics development knowledge
• Thorough understanding of device-based authenticators, including the use within mobile and web applications
• Experience with device Trusted Execution Environment / Secure Enclave, Wallets, etc.
• In depth knowledge of cyber security practices applicable for consumer biometric identification
