Description
Lung Associates of Sarasota wishes to invite qualified critical care physicians to join our practice on the beautiful southwest coast of Florida. Our independent, private practice group of 12 physicians and 9 advanced practice providers supports a large regional referral hospital and has openings for additional critical care physicians. A nocturnist position is preferred, but daytime critical care coverage would also be considered. Part or full-time positions are available.
Hospital and ICU
We provide pulmonary and critical care services at a regional referral medical center recognized by Magnet and listed as a U.S. News “Best Hospital.” We provide intensivist coverage for up to a 62 bed ICU with medical, surgical, cardiac surgical and neurologic critical care units. Advanced practice provider support is present 24 hours per day. Residents facilitate care in the medical intensive care units. The opening of a cancer center tower and nearby satellite hospital will create additional critical care needs this year.
Teaching and Research
The group supports the Florida State University Internal Medicine residency program and hosts medical students from the local FSU campus. We are actively involved in clinical research supported through the hospital's clinical research center.

Requirements
Critical Care Medicine BE/BC required. We cannot currently support J1 or H1b visas.
