Position Information:
LPG – Neurology is seeking a full time physician board eligible/board certified in neurology to join their busy practice. Candidates with fellowship training in epilepsy and movement disorder are highly preferred. The practice has outpatient clinics at Creekside and Plantation by Gulf Coast Medical Center and works collaboratively with the Neurohospitalist program to provide high quality care for the community. Candidates for this position will be required to do bread and butter neurology for the majority of their practices but may also have some opportunities to specialize. This is a hybrid position with the following schedule: two weeks outpatient, one-week inpatient coverage, followed by a week off. This allows physicians to have a total of 12 weeks off per year.

Gulf Coast Medical Center is a 624 bed acute care facility that is centrally located in Fort Myers FL. Gulf Coast Medical Center houses the Neuroscience Institute, orthopedic services, and general surgery. The hospital offers 24/7 access to emergency care and minimally invasive catheter procedures to treat stroke, as well as a dedicated neuroscience intensive care unit. GCMC is a certified Comprehensive Stroke Center with 2 certified Primary Stroke Centers at Cape Coral Hospital and Lee Memorial Hospital.
Lee Health has the area's only Level II Trauma Center and DNV Certified Comprehensive Stroke Center.
